The current fieldstone Chichester Meetinghouse dates from 1769, replacing the log meetinghouse from 1692. Quakers had settled in this area from 1682 and they met in their home’s prior to 1692. The Lenape had been here to welcome them.

Quakers and the public are invited to share in the Chichester Meetinghouse meeting for worship. A time of quiet reflection in a wonderful historical site.
